A sneak peek of Lindsay Lohan being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey after her 90-day stay in rehab can now be seen in a short teaser video.
The interview by chat show queen Oprah for Oprah's Next Chapter is
the first of the actress since she left rehab. It promises to be a
glimpse into the actress's battle with addiction and her road to
recovery and will be aired on 18 August.
In the exclusive chat, Oprah asks Lindsay hard-hitting questions such as
"Are you an addict?" and "What does it feel like to be both an
adjective and a verb for child-star-gone-wrong?"
The Mean Girls star sits across from the talk show presenter wearing a bright orange frock with her hair pulled back into a pony tail.
The interview comes as part of a documentary about the 27-year-old’s life, being produced by Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.
The eight-part series will document the actress' efforts to remain
healthy and her acting comeback following her three-month rehab stay.
As part of the deal, Lindsay did a guest-hosting stint on Chelsea Lately which is set to air on Monday.
A source told E! News, "She is taking this really serious. She
wants people to know the days of her clubbing and partying are over and
she is a new girl."
The young actress was first ordered into rehab as part of her plea deal
for reckless driving and giving false information to police about her
involvement in a car crash in June 2012.
She spent the first part of her treatment at the Betty Ford Center in
California, but requested a transfer halfway through the process. She
then went on to complete the rest of the court-ordered rehab in the
Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center in California.
This is not the first time that Lindsay has been admitted into rehab and
has also been sentenced to jail before. In 2011 she was given 30-days
in a Los Angeles County prison but served less than five hours due to
overcrowding in the jail.
