Another Stowaway! 27-Year Old Man Arrested In Benin Airport

in the tyre compartment of an Arik Airline aircraft, another man, Leroy Ugaga, 27 was arrested yesterday in the same airport, when he tried to make the same move.

He was arrested lying with his belly close to the run way with an intent of illegally boarding an Abuja-bound Arik Air flight.When arrested, he said he was a psychiatric patient and was tired of life; and that's the main reason he wanted to travel to Abuja.


Mr Yakubu of FAAN, explained that the trespasser was sighted and observed for a few minutes by members of the patrol team as he tried to gain entry to the airside and as soon as his intentions became clear, he was quickly apprehended and handed over to the police for further interrogation. He also warned the youths to desist from such illegal moves.
