Lindsay Lohan Shunned Film Festival

Lindsay Lohan has revealed she skipped the Venice Film
Festival to "focus on my health and well-being".
Lohan, 27, wrote on her website that she never confirmed she would be in Venice to promote Paul Schrader's film The Canyons.
She said would have enjoyed being at the festival "but my focus is on my health and well-being. Plain and simple, it is of the utmost importance".
Schrader declared himself "a free man" after she failed to show up on Friday, saying: "For the last 16 months I've been hostage, by own choosing, to a very talented but unpredictable actress."
He claimed she had confirmed she would be there.
Lohan has been plagued by legal and substance abuse problems in recent years. She completed her latest court-ordered stay in rehab in July.
The Mean Girls actress's Hollywood career has been blighted by repeated court cases and erratic behaviour since 2007.
Lohan was ordered in March to spend three months in a locked rehab facility, do 30 days of community work, and see a therapist for 18 months in a plea bargain over charges arising from a June 2012 car crash in southern California.
Lohan has been jailed or placed under house arrest for short periods a number of times, including three times in 2011.
She has also spent at least five periods in rehab in the last six years, saying after each stint that she was a changed woman.
