Plane Heading For Ex-Governor Agagu's Burial Crash At Lagos Airport

There has been information that a light plane crash landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos this morning.  (Saddd!!!!!!!!!! I don't think any local plane in Nigeria is fit to fly. All plane should be grounded till further notice, and by the way I will like to know the name of the owner of the airline I keep coming across different names. if anyone has this information pls contact me. I pray God will comfort the families of those who died.)

According to latest reports, a 20-seater Associated Airline jet flying to Akure, Ondo believed to be carrying passengers heading for the burial of former Ondo State governor, Olusegun Agagu.

Some persons are feared dead and several others injured, The Nation reports.  Agagu's wife and son were also on board, they were pronouced dead on the spot.
Chief Olu Falae's eldest son was also on the plane, including the Ex-Governor's remains.
It is not yet known if there have been any casualties as the details are still sketchy.
Sources said the plane took off and immediately nose-dived into a building in the area.
According to a witness, the crash occurred at the local wing of the airport close to the section were JET-A1, plane fuel, is stored.
Fire service officials were seen evacuating the occupants of the plane.
"There's a lot of smoke coming from the runway, but we can't get access to it. There are fire-fighters rushing to the scene," Rasaki Rhakod, who runs a car service around the airport, told Reuters by telephone.
The spokesman of the Nigeria aviation agencies, Yakubu Datti, asked for more time to get details of the incident.
