Victoria Beckham Set Up New Home, Fashion Empire Expanding, London Store To Open

Victoria Beckham's fashion empire is expanding. The designer has set up a new home for her brand in New York.

In January 2014, the company will open a new office in the Big Apple — and at 4,500 square-feet, it will be big enough to house the US wholesale team and a seasonal showroom space.

Victoria confirmed the news on Twitter. "Excited to announce my NY office xx," the mum-of-four wrote on Friday.

Victoria Beckham CEO Zach Duana spoke to Vogue about the opening.

"Following a period of expansion for the brand in the market over the past two years, the launch of pre collections across all categories signalled a need for a permanent office in the US to support the business," he said.

"We are looking forward to opening our first office outside of the UK and will be announcing the details of our US team shortly."

According to the magazine, the new office will be situated at 511 West 25th Street in Manhattan's Chelsea district.
Currently, speculation is also rife about a possible London store opening, on Mount Street or Dover Street, but as of yet there has been no announcement.

Victoria's career is continuing to go from strength to strength. Earlier this week, she was feted at the Harpers Bazaar Women of the Year awards where she won the Special Contribution to British Fashion trophy.

She has also received two nominations at the British Fashion Awards 2013 — for the Red Carpet Award and Brand of the Year.
