Updated news according to Sky news are that
- Eight deaths have been confirmed but rescue workers are searching the wreckage in the hope they might find survivors
- PC Kirsty Nelis has been named as one of the victims of the crash
- Another victim has been named as Gary Arthur, 48, of Paisley, the father of Celtic and Scottish women's footballer Chloe Arthur
- Also named is David Traill, understood to be the civilian pilot of the police helicopter
- Police have launched an investigation to establish what caused the helicopter to crash into the Clutha pub, which was packed with 100 people
- A memorial service has been held at Glasgow Cathedral to remember the victims
- On of the helicopter's rotor blades has been removed from the roof of the Clutha bar for examination
- The police and fire operation at the building is expected to last for several days
