He took to his Facebook page to voice out his opinion on the ongoing crisis in the nation. He talked about Boko Haram, the missing Chibok girls, foreign nations offer to help find the missing girls.
In his article, Chris Okotie said condemned the abduction of school girls from Chibok, Borno which he described as a monumental disgrace which strikes at the soul of our nation, adding that it has set a world record.
He welcomed the intervention of foreign nations in the search and rescue for the missing girls but was against Nigeria accepting help from Israel.
“We need help from anywhere we can get it except Israel. Israel is out of it to avoid Islamisizing the terror war because of the former’s long drawn conflict with the Arab nations, with whom our predominantly northern brothers share a common faith,” Okotie said.
It’s been a month since over 200 girls were kidnapped from their school in Chibok community, Borno which has drawn global interest.
Many protests have been held in the various states of Nigeria and also in other parts of the world.
Nigeria has been offered help in the rescue of the girls by world powers like the United States
