World's eyes are on Brazil as it gears up to host the World Cup.
But football isn't the only thing the South American region is famous for it has produced some of
the most famous supermodels in the world.

With their exotic features and long legs, Brazilian beauties have dominated the modelling scene for years, taking over the runways of world-famous shows such as Victoria's Secret and other major fashion houses.

Gisele Bundchen is undoubtedly Brazil's most famous export.

She was recently revealed as the world's highest-paid model for the seventh year in a row by Forbes magazine, pocketing a staggering $42million last year.

Brazil is also the birthplace of Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima.

The beautiful pair are two of Victoria's Secret most well-known angels, having walked the catwalk for the lingerie label for years.

Both have had the honour of wearing the brand's famous $2million Fantasy Bra on the runaway.

Adriana Lima is known as one of the most famous Victoria's Secret angels, having worked with the brand for years.

Alessandra Ambrosio is another of Victoria's Secret's most famous angels, travelling the world to represent the brand. An extremely versatile model, Alessandra also does editorial modelling and has graced the cover of Vogue in many different countries.

Camilla Alves moved to New York at 19 to pursue her modelling career, walking runways and becoming the face of a line for Macy's. She put modelling on the backburner when she married Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey, and the couple now have three children together.

Izabel Goulart is in high demand, walking for designers including Valentino, Chanel and Ralph Lauren. She has also stormed the runway for lingerie label Victoria's Secret.

The former face of Chanel and Guess, Ana Beatriz Barros has been big news in the modelling world since 1996. She has also walked in the Victoria's Secret show six times.

She doesn't look typically Brazilian, but flame-haired beauty Cintia Dicker hails from Rio Grand do Sul, the same state as Gisele and Alessandra Ambrosio.

As well as appearing in Sports Illustrated, Cintia has worked with some of the world's biggest designers, including Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin and Dolce & Gabbana, just to name a few.

A slightly lesser-known face, Flavia De Oliviera has been a fixture on the fashion scene for some time. She's walked for Victoria's Secret five times and has appeared in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Valentino and Dior.

Appearing on the cover of Vogue Italia at the tender age of 14, Raquel Zimmerman's career went from strength-to-strength, with hundreds of covers on her CV and campaigns for some of the biggest design houses in the world.

Isabeli Fontana caused controversy when she posed for Victoria's Secret aged just 16. But she was quickly snapped up by modelling agencies all over the world, working with Versace, Valentino and Ralph Lauren. Isabeli's most recent campaigns include Dolce & Gabbana and Escada.
