Though, the rumour of his death had been dismissed, it was gathered that he had been hospitalised for days at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
One of the high chiefs said he had been inundated with calls on the state of the health of Oba Odulana but was yet to be “officially” informed of the true situation.
The monarch went through some surgeries on Sunday and was responding to treatment.
Two of the staff of the teaching hospital also confirmed that the royal father was admitted at the hospital and that he had been moved to a private suite in the hospital.
