Simone Battle Found Dead, Hangs Herself

The 25-year-old G.R.L. singer's death was discovered two days ago after she was found dead in her West Hollywood home.

 On Sunday, G.R.L.'s debut single Ugly Heart reached number 11 on the UK chart.

The remaining members of the band tweeted a tribute to the former US X factor contestant.

They said: "Words cannot express the depth of our loss. Simone's incredible talent was only surpassed by the size of her heart."

And they insisted they will "carry her memory with us in everything we do".

X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, formerly Cheryl Cole, used social media to say: "Such tragically sad news to hear of the passing of Simone Battle.
