This is not the first time
Mikel will be showing disregard for the Nigerian media. Early this week, a
sports journalist, Colin Udoh had claimed that the footballer verbally
assaulted him on a plane after the Nigeria’s Super Eagles lost to Sudan in
Khartoum last Saturday.
Also last week Tuesday, the
mid fielder was said to have shunned the open media chat, three days before the
team flew to Khartoum, and Nigerian coach Keshi had to apologise for the act of
defiance.
Nigeria will be playing
Sudan today in Abuja to seek redemption in their qualifiers for Morocco 2015 to
defend their title.
