Two Brothers Died During Spiritual Bath, Cherubim n Seraphim Pastor Disappears

A pastor, Samuel Olusoji of the New Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Ajah area of Lagos state is on the run following the alleged death of two brothers during a spiritual bath.
The deceased identified as Abiodun, 23 and Ayinde Oniru, 20 and one of their step-brothers had been taken to the church for spiritual cleansing by their father and step-mother last Thursday.
The pastor had however suggested a spiritual bath which would complete the cleansing at a stream located in Ogombo area of Ajah.
The step-brother reportedly refused to partake in the spiritual bath, leaving their step-mother and Pastor Samuel at the stream.

Unfortunately, things took a tragic turn as the brothers drowned during the spiritual bath.

Policemen from the Ogombo police division were said to have stormed the church, located on 739, Ori-Oke Ibulun Ilasan Street, Jakande Ajah after the case was reported.

On sighting the policemen, the Pastor and some members of the church took their heels.
The secretary of the church was not so lucky as he was arrested and whisked into the police waiting van.

According to a police source, they were still on the trail of the pastor of the church who is currently on the run.

The source said: “Meanwhile, the autopsy report will form basis for our investigation. It is only then that we can be able to establish the cause of their death.”

It was learnt that the corpses had been deposited at Mainland Hospital mortuary, Yaba, where the autopsy would be done.
