I’ve waited for pictures, nice one. The Facebook post of the National Emergency Management Agency shared pictures it was released with the following message:

“We have been overwhelmed with request to show pictures and other details, of the girls rescued by the Nigerian Military in Sambisa forest.

“The Agency has a duty to respect the privacy and dignity of these Displaced persons, therefore there are limitations to what pictures we can share with the Public, however, we have selected some pictures from the Handover operations over the weekend in Yola.


“The rescued women and children comprised of 69 women, 14 girls, 26 male children aged 6-12 years, 49 male children aged around 5 years, 48 female children aged 0-5 years and 69 female aged 6-12 years, while 21 injured people are on admission at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola.”
