Prophet Sentence To 7 Yrs Over Assault n Unpaid Deliverance Money

According to PM News, the prophet caused disorder at an Ejigbo Court when he suddenly jumped from the dock and ran out of the court where he was facing criminal charge of fraud and assault.
Lagos prophet Destiny Onwudinjo was sentenced to seven years in jail after he pleaded guilty to a weird attempt to escape from assault trial.

Some representatives of the prosecution, so as court officials, ran after the suspect and managed to re-arrest him on the street of Lagos.
Prophet Onwudinjo stood trial over having brutalized Chika Izuogu, an okada rider who refused to pay him N120,000 for deliverance prayer.

The assault took place at Olukosi Street, Shasha, Lagos. The convict told the victim that God revealed to him that the man needed to embark on seven days deliverance prayer so that his condition would improve for the better. Izuogu was promised a divine blessing from God. The cleric also added that the unknown person would give him N3 million he would use to start a new life and become rich.

The prophet explained to Izuogu that the money he asked him to pay covered the fasting and other spiritual materials to be used for deliverance.

The man was finally convinced but told Onwudinjo that he would do the fasting by himself because he did not have the required amount to give him.
Such development caused a clash, as a result of which Onwudinjo beat up and injured Izuogu.

Their neighbours alerted the police following which the prophet was arrested.
When rearrested and re-arraigned, he pleaded guilty of trying to escape from court and assaulting Izuogu.
