‘Those Plotting Against Bola Tinubu Will Lose’

According to daily post a team under the patronage of the Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation has accused Senator Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara of fuelling the current crisis rocking the National Assembly.
Recall that Saraki and Dogara emerged as Senate President and speaker of the House of Representative respectively contrary to the wishes of the All Progressives Congress.  

Added to this, the duo refused to obey the recommendations sent to them by the leadership of the party on June 23, regarding the leadership positions in the 8th National Assembly. 

Reacting to this development, the National Publicity of the Secretary of the Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, in a statement on Monday, June 29, warned that those plotting against Bola Tinubu will lose. 

The group extolled Bola Tinubu as a one who has contributed immensely to the political change currently witnessed in the country, Daily Post reports. 

“He made a lot of sacrifices and never allowed personal ambition to jeopardise national interest as he negotiated for change in the interest of the nation.”  

The group said someone like Tinubu who has done so well should be appreciated warning that any plot against him will fail.

Meanwhile, the APC has called for the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) steps down from his post. 

The party insists Ekweremadu would hamper President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration if he remains in that post.
