Sixteen-year-old Lily-Rose
Depp is the new face of the French fashion house's Pearl eyewear range, shot by
the label's creative director Karl Lagerfeld and has landed a campaign for
Chanel.
It may have been her first
major fashion campaign, but Johnny Depp's daughter already looked every inch a
supermodel as she posed in the close-up shots in front of a pastel background.
Posing in a pair of cream
sunglasses and a matching blazer with a peter pan collar and three-quarter
length sleeves, Lily-Rose has clearly inherited her mother's beauty, wearing
her blonde bob down in tousled waves and rocking a dark pink lipstick.
"Lily-Rose is
stunning," said Karl in a statement, explaining why he chose the rising
star for the images. "She's a young girl from a new generation with all
the qualities of a star."
It comes as no surprise
that Lily-Rose has become a muse for the designer – she already has a close
relationship with the brand thanks to mum Vanessa who herself has fronted
various Chanel campaigns.
The stylish teen made waves
earlier this year when she made a rare public appearance and joined her mother
for Chanel's Metiers d'Art show in Salzburg. Many fashionistas hailed Lily-Rose
as a style icon in the making as she stepped out in a pale blue embellished
crop top and pencil skirt, with a silver belt around her waist and a scarf
draped around her neck.
