The star
posted a video on Instagram showing the house which has a swimming pool
surrounded by palm trees.
Workmen can
be seen sweeping up around the grounds and pool, which is an unappealing green
colour.
In a message
next to the video 50 Cent wrote: "My crib is almost finished in AFRICA.
I'm gonna have the craziest House warming party ever. I'll explain later. I got
a good life Man."
He did not
specify which country in Africa the house is in.
In a court filing he
revealed that he has a monthly income of $185,000 (£118,000), which is mainly
from royalties and interest on his investments.
However, he stated that he
pays $72,000 (£46,000) a month to maintain his mansion in Hartford,
Connecticut, including $5,000 (£3,200) a month on gardening.
It had been thought that 50
Cent was worth over $150m but he has admitted that this is not the case and
that he often borrows fancy cars or expensive jewellery for public ppearances.
He revealed he owes money
to his stylist, fitness coach and barber.
The rapper's album Get Rich
Or Die Tryin' helped make him one of the world's best-selling artists.
