celebrated her 23rd birthday in style on Wednesday, November 11 2015.
Currently signed to Roc
Nation and Red Velvet Music Group, Cuppy has been deejaying since 16. She
started off in London and has since grown in the craft, earning herself a slot
to play as the resident DJ for the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban,
South Africa.
DJ Cuppy was born in Lagos,
Nigeria and lived around Illupeju and Ikeja before leaving the country to study
business economics at King’s College London. She is also presently studying for
a master’s degree in music business at the New York University.
