The 1st son of
the late Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti seem to be battling with an ailment unknown to
fans; the management of African Shrine didn not reveal sickness.
A notice was posted by the management
of African Shrine in front of the shrine stating “there will be no gig today,
22nd of November, 2015, because the singer will have to undergo a surgery.”
Femi’s sister, Yeni kuti disclose
on social media that Femi surgery was successful.
Below is the notice posted
on shrine.
“THIS IS TO INFORM OUR FANS AND LOVERS OF AFROBEAT
THAT THERE WILL NOT BE SUNDAY JUMP ON 22-11-15 BECAUSE AMBASSADOR FEMI KUTI IS
GOING FOR AN OPERATION AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PERFORM FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS.
WE WILL KEEP ALL UPDATED ON THE SCHEDULE OF WHEN THE POSITIVE FORCE BAND WILL
PLAY AS OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH AMBASSADOR FEMI KUTI, AFROBEAT FOREVER!!!!!
