Lionel Messi Honoured 2015 Best Player

Overjoyed Barcelona soccer player and FIFA Ballon d'Or favourite Lionel Messi was honoured at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai in winning the Best Player of the 2015 Year.

"Obviously I am very happy to be here and delighted to win this award but as always, the most important thing is the collective, the team" Messi said, according to Goal. "It is difficult to pick out one moment from what has been an extraordinary year for Barcelona—the whole year has been wonderful."

Players like Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo were also honoured at the awards Ceremony in Dubai.
