Alex Traverso, a spokesman
for the California Lottery, said two other winning tickets were sold in Tennessee
and Florida that the winners need to come forward.
None of the identities of
the winners have been revealed and Mr Traverso said there was no further
information on where the second two tickets were sold.
Officials announced the
numbers - 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball 10 - but it could be some time before
it is known if there are any more winners.
At least three winning
tickets for the record $1.5bn Powerball jackpot have been sold, according to
lottery officials.
One of the tickets was sold
at a 7-Eleven store in Chino Hills, suburban Los Angeles.
The Multi-State Lottery
Association, which runs the Powerball game, said they expected more than 85% of
all the possible number combinations to have been bought for this draw.
