Suicide Bombers Attack Market 19 Dead Over 60 Injured

In a market in northern Cameroon on Friday, nineteen people have been confirmed dead and 50 other people seriously injured after two male suicide bombers attacked a market in Meme town in the Far North Region of Cameroon today February 18th.

Two men walked into the market in Meme and blew themselves up, one of the officials based in northern Cameroon said, adding that the number of dead and injured is subject to change.

A local official said 70 people were wounded Friday and have been taken to a hospital in the town of Tokombere, some in critical condition. He said the attackers disguised themselves as food vendors in the market.
