Olajumoke the Agege bread
seller started her modelling career with FEW model management when she was just
discovered.
Olajumoke Orisaguna, the
bread seller turned model, has legally broken every ties with FEW Model
Management.
According to sources,
Jumoke has being moved from FEW Models to BETH Model Management which will be
handling her portfolio henceforth.
The source confirmed that
Jumoke’s lawyers cited some incompetence on the part of FEW Model Management in
handling the 27-year-old model’s portfolio as the reason for porting while
stating that FEW models never got Jumoke any lucrative contract since they
signed her on.
Meanwhile, FEW Model
Management was contacted to sign Jumoke who was quite a media sensation when
her story broke out and the agency was contracted to build on the publicity she
generated, however, FEW was alleged to have failed to meet that obligation.
According to Onobello.com,
feathers have been ruffled by this move by Olajumoke and her legal team; as
there is an underlying competition going on between the CEO of FEW- Bolajo
Fawehinmi and CEO of BETH Elizabeth Elohor Aisien.
However, Olajumoke and her
legal team seem to be more confident in the abilities and experience of BETH
being that the agency has been in the modeling business for over 12 years as
opposed to the one year FEW has been in the modelling business.
According to Olajumoke’s
team, the reason for the move is BETH’s experience coupled with organizing the
yearly Elite Model Look Competition that has put top Nigerian models such as
Chika Emmanuella, Mayowa Nicholas and Victor Ndigwe on the international modelling
runways.
