Buhari Sacks JAMB, NECO Registrars, n Others, Appoints Replacements

Bem Goong, deputy director of press at the ministry of education, disclosed this in a statement, saying Ishaq Oloyede, a former vice-chancellor (VC) of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), had been appointed the new registrar of the board.

President Muhammadu Buhari has relieved Dibu Ojerinde, a professor, of his appointment as the registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

  

Goong said 16 chief executive officers of parastatals and agencies under the ministry of education had also been replaced.

Goong said the appointments were with immediate effect, adding that the new chief executives are expected at the office of the minister of education at 12 noon on Tuesday.
