President Muhammadu Buhari
says he didn’t inherit any legacy from previous Nigerian governments. And so,
his government found nothing to build on.
He says there’s no savings,
infrastructure, power, rail, road and security to show for PDP’s 16 years in
power.
The President expressed
this in his hometown, Daura after attending Eid prayers.
Also speaking on the
government’s anti-corruption drive, he says the fight will be fair to all and
that those who abused public office will-in addition to returning looted funds-
face justice.
He says his government
improved on security with the fight against Boko Haram and its efforts in the
Niger Delta region.
In a bid to boost the
economy, he says the Federal Ministry of Agriculture with the CBN, are working
on a program to provide employment for the youths.
