A new video has shown
soldiers deployed to battle Boko Haram insurgents revealing the true reason why
they went on rampage in the Sambisa Forest and turned against their superior
officers, protesting and shooting indiscriminately.
Nigerian soldiers who went
berserk and started shooting their senior officers have revealed why they did
it.
The Nigerian Army
authorities may have lied over recent events of soldiers going on rampage in
Sambisa forest.
In the video released on
Wednesday by Premium Times, the soldiers spoke their minds against the ills
they have suffered in the hands of the military authorities.
The soldiers revealed that
they were not told how long they would spend at a particular location and
claimed that most of the vehicles they used were in bad shape which made them
vulnerable and easy targets for the terrorists.
