“Nigeria had gone too far to allow military coup they would be resisted at all cost” – Bola Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said Nigerians will never allow the military to rule again, adding that coup plotters will be resisted in the country.
The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has spoken on the rumours of military coup in Nigeria.
The former Lagos state governor made the comment on Monday, May 22, at the special parliamentary session to mark Lagos at 50 celebration at the Lagos state House of Assembly.

He said the nation had gone too far to allow a thing like military coup to happen again, as such move would be resisted at all cost. Recall that Tinubu recently called for true federalism across the federation. The APC leader said Nigerians must ask questions why the country is underdeveloped despite being rich in oil. He added that Nigeria’s politics has been directed to wrong things.
