The 42-year-old lawmaker was abducted with three other persons along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road.
Gunmen numbering over 30 abducted and have kidnapped a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Isa Salihu who represents Magajin Garin Constituency of the state, Channels TV reports.
The lawmaker was abducted while travelling to Birnin Gwari from the state capital.
A source from the state House of Assembly said efforts are being made to rescue the lawmaker from his abductors. However the State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
A member of the House of Representatives, representing Sumaila/Takai federal constituency of Kano state, Garba Durbunde was on Tuesday, May 30, kidnapped. He was abducted while driving to Kano from Abuja.

The lawmaker was freed by his abductors on Wednesday night, May 31 night after paying a sizeable ransom.
