Visitors to Drayton Manor were today stranded on the ride G-Force after the ride seemingly broke down.
Thrill-seekers were left dangling upside down at up to 82ft in the air when a rollercoaster suddenly stopped mid-ride.
Shocking footage from the theme park in Tamworth, Staffordshire, shows people dangling upside down at the top of one of the ride's loops.
A spokesman for Drayton Manor said: ' At 15.22 today G-Force experienced a temporary stoppage.  As a result all guests were safely removed from the ride. At no point was guest safety compromised.'

G-Force, touted as the 'only X-Car coaster int he UK), opened in 2005, is 82ft tall and reaches up to 43.5mph. Commenting on Facebook, witness Kirsty Lorraine Gethings said: '[I] was there when it happened, they weren't there for long.
'Staff managed to move the carriage quite swiftly and it was still definitely running after the event as well.'

Each of the ride's two five-tonne carriages boasted a 'Big Boy' seat - normally barred from other such rides - which is designed to accommodate heavier riders.
Passengers were also said to be secured by a new restraint system which left them dangling only by their hips.
It comes just seven weeks after the death of 11-year-old Evha Janneth died on the theme park's rapids ride.

The schoolgirl was jolted out of a six-seater rubber-ringed boat on a ride, when she apparently stood up to swap seats.
