Russian journalist Ekaterina Nadolskaya has accused Argentine legend Diego Maradona of sexual harassment.
The claim was made in an interview with Life.ru following the Confederations Cup final.
Maradona, along with Brazilian star Ronaldo, were two of the high profile football legends at the event.
Germany beat Chile 1-0 in the final, a year before the start of the 2018 World Cup.
Ekaterina Nadolskaya has made some bold claims to Life about what happened with Maradona.
According to her version of events, she went to Maradona’s hotel room in order to conduct an interview but things quickly went awry.
She claimed Maradona tried to remove her dress, and he tried to “molest” her.
Globo also report that Maradona offered the journalist 500 euros, before he tried to kick her out of his room.
Eventually, Globo report, Ekaterina Nadolskaya left Maradona’s room with three security men before she left the hotel escorted by a policeman.
Despite the obvious severity of the allegations. Ole are reporting that Maradona has not received any charges.
Moreover, Maradona’s lawyer has denied all the allegations of attempted sexual abuse by the Russian journalist.
She's probably lying for money or fame didn't think he's like this but the Russian women are always running around with men evey night I saw this going on out in Egypt on holiday
