Piers Morgan meets Jose Mourinho in Harrods Photo Taking

In recent seasons, arguably Arsene Wenger’s biggest online critic is former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan.
Thanks to Morgan’s immense following on Twitter – now over 6 million – his thoughts on Arsene Wenger and the current state of Arsenal are well known.
Morgan has called for Arsene Wenger to leave the club for many years and was publicly bewildered when the Frenchman was given a new two-year deal last summer.

On Sunday, Morgan posted his regular column in the Mail on Sunday and included details of a chance meeting with Jose Mourinho in Harrods.

Jose Mourinho asks Piers Morgan for a photo
Piers Morgan stopped Jose Mourinho and they chatted for 20 minutes, according to the Good Morning Britain host.

Perhaps the most surprising thing is that Mourinho asked Morgan for a photo.
The exchange between Morgan and Mourinho went as follows:

Mourinho said: “I feel so sorry for you Arsenal fans,” he chuckled, not looking remotely sorry. “I have some very good friends who love Arsenal like you do and they are just as depressed as you about the club. They suffer so badly, it is a terrible thing to observe.”

Mourinho then burst out laughing. “Terrible… hahahahaha.”
Morgan then asked: “How the hell is Arsene Wenger still in his job?”

“No idea,” Mourinho smirked, “but I hope he stays in it for a very long time…”
“You have a brilliant team now,” Morgan sighed.

“I am happy,” Mourinho smiled. “Very happy.”
