Ngozi Adiche exudes confidence as she graces one of the seven different covers
of The New York Times’ T Magazine’s October Greats issue.
The seven personalities
chosen to grace the T magazine covers are all masters in their respective
fields. Therefore, it was not surprising to see the successful Americanah
author turned public intellectual on the cover.
The publication described
Ms Adichie as a “humanist on and off the page”.
“She is the rare novelist
to become a public intellectual — as well as a defining voice on race and
gender for the digital age,” The New York Times Style Magazine wrote of her.
The New York Times T
magazine October Greats issue will be out on October 22nd. Other personalities
featured on the other covers asdre; Nicki Minaj (rapper), Park Chan-Wook
(director), Amy Adams (actor), Claes Oldeburg (artist), Stephen Sondheim
(composer), and Dries Van Noten (fashion designer).
