Eighteen-years-old
mother of two, Theodora Ansah escaped being butchered to death by her boyfriend
Raymond Boabey, who slashed her throat for serving him one piece of meat on
Christmas day.
According to
Theodora who is a hairdresser, this is the third attack she has suffered in the
hands of Raymond who is a construction worker at Likpe Mate, a suburb of Hohoe
in the Volta region, Ghana.
Theodora who
is admitted at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, alleged that the one meat food
angered her boyfriend who slapped and kicked her out of his home. However he on
Thursday, 28th December, he visited the lady to apologize and asked her to let
him go home with her daughter from another man which she obliged. Hours later
she went back for her daughter from him, and he requested to have a chat which
she agreed.
The victim
claimed that Raymond asked for a come-back so they could go on with their
marriage plan, but she refused. Her response which got her boyfriend angrier
made him attack her with a cutlass with which he slashed her neck from behind
and her left hand which she used to block the cutlass.
