The father-of-one has had
several previous brushes with the law, including a conviction for beating
then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and a restraining order against another ex-girlfriend
in 2017.
Brown is currently
performing his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour, which has been running since
June.
The singer - who in 2009
was convicted of beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna - was picked up by police after
stepping off stage.
Chris Brown has been
arrested moments after stepping off stage in Florida.
The 29-year-old singer was
taken into custody for "an outstanding warrant" in a nearby county -
but US officials have not said what the warrant was for.
Officers approached Brown
following his performance at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach on
Thursday night.
He was released from jail
after paying a $2,000 (£1,512) bond.
On the same evening, a new
post appeared on his official Instagram page, which is followed by over 44
million fans.
Alongside a picture of a
bare-chested Brown, the caption read: "What's NEW????? Show
tomorrow!!!"
He is scheduled to perform
at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on Friday
evening.
