Jimoh Ibrahim Loses Father Barely Two Months After Losing Mother

Nigerian billionaire, Jimoh Ibrahim has lost his father barely two months after losing his mother to a fire accident. The father, Alhaji Yakubu Jimoh, died on Sunday in his hometown in Igbatokado, Ondo State.

The source of his death is unknown. However, sources say it might not be in connected to the manner in which his wife died.

His wife, Jimoh Ibrahim’s mother, died after her house was gutted by fire. Sources say the fire started from a candle light after the woman fell asleep in the house.

However a statement by one of the sons, Dipo Jimoh, tends to claim that the woman didn’t die as a result of fire accident as widely reported.

“Dipo Jimoh (last born and the closest son of the late mother — Mrs. Theresa Jimoh), who recently graduated from Columbia University and the MD/CEO of Barama Energy Resources, has denounced the root cause of his mother’s death as a result of candle fire and also that her remains were deposited in a morgue by Lagos State Emergency Management Agency.

“Dipo has promised to face any heavyweight individual or group who plans to misinterpret or confuse the populace about the root cause of his mother’s death.

“My mother died as a result of family complications and mismanagement.”
