“Europe has now become the epicenter"

At a press conference in Geneva on Friday, WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said: “Europe has now become the epicenter of the #COVID19 pandemic, with more reported cases and deaths than the rest of the world combined, apart from #China.

The World Health Organisation said Europe has upstaged China, in being the epicentre of coronavirus pandemic.

“More cases are now being reported every day than were reported in at the height of its epidemic”, he said.
