A former BBC journalist and his partner were both found dead in the same room at home, an inquest has heard.
John
Stevenson, 68, was found on the floor near his bed in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon
Taf, on 12 March this year, a hearing in Pontypridd was told.
He worked as
a political correspondent for BBC Wales.
The two men
were discovered when police forced their way into the property after district
nurses raised the alarm, the court heard.
Neither had
any injuries.
A post-mortem
carried out at the University Hospital of Wales have a provisional cause of
death as ‘unascertained’.
A full
inquest will take place next January.
