Toddler Son Shot Mum From Back Seat

Woman shot dead in car by child in back seat
Ms Price was driving a car belonging to her security guard boyfriend when her two-year-old managed to get hold of a pistol and opened fire, family members said.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said a .40-calibre handgun was found in the vehicle.
The twenty-six years-old woman was shot dead while driving in Milwaukee after her son got hold of a gun in the back seat of the car, police say.

Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said the woman was hit once in the back as she drove on US Highway 175 on Tuesday.

When deputies arrived, Patrice Price had no pulse and was not breathing.

Officers tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene on Tuesday. She had apparently managed to stop the vehicle after being shot.

Ms Price's one-year-old son was in the passenger seat of the car with her mother, but neither was injured, according to relatives.
In addition to her children, Ms Price had also been taking care of her sister, who was paralysed in a shooting several months ago, a friend, Michelle Kane, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The southbound Highway 175 was shut down for several hours after the shooting.
