George Clooney reportedly split from girlfriend Stacy Keibler

 Hollywood hearthrob George Clooney and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler have been refusing to comment on rumours that they have split.
Batman actor George had reportedly called time on his romance with former wrestler Stacy after nearly two years together.

A report by the Press Association said the couple split after they "decided there was no future in the relationship, with Stacy wanting to settle down sooner than George." 

"They knew it was never going to end in marriage or babies and Stacy does want kids and a husband in the next few years," added another source.

Insiders have claimed, however, that George, 51, and Stacy, 33, are still together. George is currently filming in Berlin and Stacy was reportedly due to fly to meet him. Former Dancing with the Stars contestant Stacy did not comment on the split rumours, but did post a Twitter photo of the view from an aeroplane with the words "Up, up and away...".

George is in Berlin to film The Monuments Men, which also stars Matt Damon, John Goodman, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, Hugh Bonneville and Jean Dujardin.

Stacy often joins George on trips around the world. Last year, the couple invited both sets of parents to join them on holiday at George's villa in Lake Como, Italy.

Oceans Twelve star George met Stacy a month after he split from Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis. He has been romantically linked to stars including Kelly Preston and Renee Zellwegger. He had a five-year on-off relationship with model and DJ Lisa Snowdon and was married to actress Talia Balsam for four years. George has said of his marriage: "I probably – definitely – wasn't someone who should have been married at that point."
