Hip Hop Rapper reported seizure that led to claims he was in a coma and near death

Grammy-winning hip hop star Lil Wayne has said he is recovering and has thanked fans for their concern after he suffered a reported seizure.

Celebrity news website TMZ claimed the star was in critical condition in Los Angeles after being admitted to hospital twice this week.
In a message from his official Twitter account Lil Wayne said: "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love."
The 30-year-old rapper, who has a history of seizures, was first rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital on Tuesday after suffering multiple episodes, it said.
He left the following day but was re-admitted hours later.
His spokeswoman Sarah Cunningham said in an email that "Lil Wayne is recovering," but did not specify what he was suffering from.
TMZ had reported he has been placed in a medically induced coma and was breathing through a ventilator.
However, friend and fellow rapper Mack Maine tweeted on Friday that Lil Wayne - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr - was alert and watching a basketball game.
In October, the star, who won four Grammy awards in 2008 including best rap song and best rap album, reportedly suffered a number of seizures while on his private jet.
Last September, the tattooed New Orleans native celebrated his 30th birthday by overtaking Elvis Presley for the number of times he has made Billboard's Hot 100 pop chart, with 109 appearances.
Young Weezy, as he is known, counts President Barack Obama among his fans and has been rapping since the age of eight.
He has 10 studio albums under his belt and served time in a New York jail in 2010 for unlawful possession of a firearm.
