My biggest love mistake -Bimbo Thomas, popular actress

It is often said that love is blind, but when the love expires and those who were once 'love blind' now regain their sight and can see the havoc wrecked by their 'blindness', they become remorseful.

This is precisely the case of popular actress, Bimbo Thomas, who disclosed that she has made terrible mistakes for love. In an exclusive chat with The Entertainer, Bimbo said like most women who have been misled and deceived, she has done stupid things for love. "Yes, I have been in love. I have been involved in a relationship that I thought was love but wasn't," she confessed. Continuing, the actress said: "There was this relationship that I thought would lead to the altar. I was committed to it and the guy was committed too but it didn't work out. We are still friends though. "When I came out of that relationship, I didn't want to date again. I just wanted to be left alone but you know women and love, I found another guy, he was the kind of guy you would call a gentleman. I fell in love with him; I could do anything for him. I even made a mistake that is still tugging at my conscience till date; I sent him my nude picture. Looking back now, it was one mistake too many especially when I realized that the guy was deceiving me as he was married with children. I cried and cried! I almost gave up on everything but God kept me." Isn't that a stupid mistake? We asked. "Yes, it is," she said with remorse. "Sam, you know celebrities are human too. We hurt, we laugh, we cry, we love, we grief and do everything every human being does. We fall in love, make mistakes, and fall down like the Bible would say, but we can't stay down, we need to get up and keep forging ahead. Most guys that approach celebrities have evil intention." Responding to the question as to whether she would date again, the Omo Ghetto star said 'yes' but will rather approach the subject cautiously. "Dating is now something I dread. I don't think I will give up on love but the next guy might pay for the sins of others," she remarked with a laughter that had a ring of vengeance. A graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, Bimbo Thomas came into the movie industry a few years ago. After a series of small roles, she became a household name in Omo Ghetto, a flick produced by Funke Akindele.
