Elsa Pataky, Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde gave a masterclass in glamorous maternity wear as they hit the Oscars red carpet.
Mum-of-one Elsa, who is expecting twins with her husband Chris Hemsworth, showcased her baby bump in a beautiful green Elie Saab gown. A drop waist fitted comfortably underneath her burgeoning tummy, and gave the dress a striking silhouette that make the most of Elsa’s curves.

The 37-year-old actress, who is about seven months pregnant, cradled her tummy as she posed outside Hollywood's Dolby Theatre with her handsome husband, dapper in a burgundy tuxedo.

Kerry chose a more traditional draped gown to wear on the night. The Scandal star wore a custom-designed Jason Wu amethyst stain crepe gown, featuring a side split. She accessorised with jewellery by Jennifer Meyer, wife of Tobey Maguire, including earrings and double bracelets.

The 37-year-old glowed as she hit the red carpet, rocking a vampy lip and sexy, soft wavy hair, worn half-up, half-down.

There was no sign of Kerry’s husband Nnamdi Asomugha – the couple, who tied the knot in June, prefer to stay away from the spotlight. But that didn't stop the stunning actress from stealing the show as she arrived for the ceremony.

Throughout her pregnancy, Olivia has nailed her red carpet style – and Sunday night was no exception. The 29-year-old chose a turtleneck-style black dress that hugged her baby bump and showed off her pregnancy curves.

The Valentino gown also featured an open back that was punctuated with a bow detail at the nape of her neck.

Olivia was accompanied by her fiancé Jason Sudeikis, who looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo. The couple, who started dating in November 2011 and became engaged in January 2013, are expecting their first child, a baby boy, on 4 May.
