Akon In Nigeria With Tinubu

International singer and Senegal origin but American based Akon was spotted with the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Friday, July 31.
Akon, who is currently in Nigeria with his team, was received by Tinubu at his Ikoyi residence in Lagos.

The singer Akon is in Nigeria for his solar power project.

The Senegalese has initiated plans light up Africa by supplying electricity to African countries. Akon is launching an academy through his “Akon Lighting Africa” initiative, which will use the power of the sun to hopefully provide 600 million African people with electricity.
