Lagos-State Shut Down 53 Churches

Due to complain from residents the Government has shut down fifty-three churches because the worshippers constitute a nuisance, the worship places were supposed to be residential.

Most of the worship centres were also residential apartments converted into worship centres.

The General Manager, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, Adebola Shabi, said any worship place that does not comply with the law will also be shut down in the nearest future.
