Oprah Winfrey whose name
became the No. 1 trend on Twitter on Tuesday night, took to her Twitter account
to refute the claims.
Oprah Winfrey, an American
media executive, has denied claims that she was arrested for sex trafficking.
Oprah Winfrey stated
nothing of such had happened and that she was sanitizing and keeping herself
safe from the recent breakout of coronavirus.
In her words, Oprah said
“Just got a phone call that my name is trending and being trolled for some
awful FAKE thing and It’s NOT TRUE.
“Haven’t been raided, or
arrested. Just sanitizing and self-distancing with the rest of the world.
“Stay safe everybody.”
Meanwhile, a good number of
Twitter users who were excited about the fake news mocked her for doing
documentaries on men who were accused of sexual assault, whereas she had her
own skeletons.
The claims had come months
after 50 Cent US rapper, had accused Winfrey of targeting only black men in her
sexual assault documentaries.
“I don’t understand why
Oprah is going after black men. No Harvey Weinstein, No Epstein, just Micheal
Jackson and Russell Simmons,” the rapper had alleged.
“Gale hit R Kelly with the
death blow documentary. Every time I hear Micheal Jackson I don’t know whether
to dance or think about the little boys’ butts.
“These documentaries are
publicly convicting their targets. It makes them guilty till proven innocent.”
